WHERE IS THE DJEMBE XPLOSION TAKING PLACE?
Bolokada's Djembe Xplosion is happening in St. Louis, Missouri -- the big drumming heart of the Midwest, USA!!
The newly-renovated and beautiful Better Family Life Inc. Cultural Center will be our workshop hub, located at 5415 Page. Blvd., 63112 (between Union & Goodfellow.)
You can choose from more than 25 workshops!! You'll have indoor and outdoor workshops, a djembe lounge to relax and sip some cool drinks, food vendors, a BBQ, and access to FREE BlackDanceUSA dance classes in the same venue!!!
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Simply click to our Registration page and select a ticket. The site will direct you to PAYPAL online, where you can easily purchase your pass with a major credit card. CAN I RENT A DRUM @ THE XPLOSION?
You'll have a fleet of big & medium-sized djembes and dununs on deck. Djembes are for rent, for use, or for purchase. Also, Bolokada will be selling his hand-made Pro-Djembes! We've got you convered no matter what!
CAN I RECORD THE SESSIONS?
Yes.
CAN I BE AN XPLOSION SPONSOR?
Of course! Proceeds for this conference go to Africa United!! We invite your company to join Bolokada in raising the profile of this important conference & cause.
You can sponsor by buying a big group package, or sponsoring certain groups to attend, such as youth. You can also provide drums, boldly spread the word, or donate directly to the cause. Your efforts are duly appreciated and will be rewarded instantly!

FLYING IN
You will fly into the St. Louis Lambert Airport. If you're flying in and don't want to rent a car, we will pick you up from the airport and take you directly to Parkway Hotel or your destination of choice. From the airport, you can also take the Metro Link to Forest Park station, a few skips from Parkway Hotel.
DRIVING IN
You'll want to map it out. Drummers staying at Parkway can park for $5/day, and take the Shuttle to get to and fro Djembe X.
